Quick and Easy lunch prep for the work week

Ingredients:
Spinach
Strawberrys (cut up)
Goat Cheese Crumbles
Raw Almonds
Strawberry Balsamic Dressing

You can prep the salad for up to 4 days ahead, but make sure to store the dressing in a small container to bring along with it. Here I used a 5 hour energy bottle after ripping off the label. That way the spinach doesn't get soggy and the salad tastes fresh!

For this lunch prep, add a hard boiled egg & a peanut butter Clif bar

Delicious and Healthy

Ingredients:
2 Avocados
1 can black beans
1 can corn kernels
1/2 red onion
cherry tomatoes
Jalapenos
Lime

Simple way to eat clean

This can also be used as a great chip-dip, but if you are trying to lose weight just eat it as is (you won't be disappointed)

Begin by draining the corn, and place it on a baking sheet
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes

While the corn is in the oven, begin prepping the rest

Drain and rinse the black beans

Dice up the avocados, jalapenos, tomatoes and half onion

Let the corn cool off, then combine all ingredients on a large bowl and salt to taste. Squeeze fresh lime juice over and continue to stir. Let cool in the fridge for at least one hour

ENJOY :)

Still on this health kick and decided to make myself this vitamin-induced pitcher of water to keep in the fridge. It's not only a great source of nutrients but also a good way to kick a hunger craving.

Supples Needed:
Water Pitcher
Grapefruit
Lemon
Mint Leaves
Cucumbers

All I do is cut up some slices and put some fresh mint leaves in and toss them in the pitcher, then fill the pitcher with water and let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour. It is EXCELLENT tasting and very refreshing...but most importantly it holds many health benefits within the nutrients

Grapefruit Health Benefits

Weight-loss:
This fruit has a fat-burning enzyme and can help to absorb and reduce the starch and sugar in the body. It is widely consumed by people who are trying to lose weight.

Breast cancer:
In another study, the bioflavonoids found in grapefruit was discovered to even halt cancer cells from spreading in breast cancer patients, by ridding the body of excess estrogen.

Cholesterol:
A certain compound found in grapefruit helps reduce the excessive production of cholesterol from the liver.

Fatigue:
At the end of a long and tiring day, drink a glass of grapefruit juice with lemon juice in equal parts with a little honey, to dispel all fatigue and tiredness.

Insomnia:
A drink of grapefruit juice before bedtime, helps to promote sleep and alleviates insomnia.

Pregnant woman:
The bioflavonoids and vitamin C help to reduce water retention and swelling of the legs during pregnancy.

Sore throat:
Drinking a freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice helps relieve sore throats and soothes coughs.

Lemon Water Benefits

Great source of Vitamin C

Balances pH levels

Aids in weight loss

Improves digestion

Cucumber Benefits

Your cucumber slices will also give you anti-inflammatory and cancer-fighting benefits. Cucumbers contain three lignans (lacriciresinol, pinoresinol, and secoisolariciresinol), which have been proven to fight breast, uterine, and ovarian cancers. Fresh cucumber extracts, meanwhile, inhibit the behavior of pro-inflammatory enzymes like COX-2. The juice is also rich in anti-oxidants.

Mint Leaves Benefits

Mint water brings nutrition and digestive health. Drinking mint-flavored water is a long-standing home remedy for digestive problems, but modern research has confirmed that this natural diuretic can help stop colitis and irritable bowel syndrome. It is rich in vitamins A, C, and B12 with traces of iron, potassium, selenium, and zinc.
