Make a white or yellow batter cupcakes as you would normally, and then divide the batter up into different cups. Add a few drops of food coloring as you desire and mix each cup up separately. From there just take a spoonful at a time of each color into the muffin pan and they turn out like this.
I chose pastel colors because it was Easter time, but they are great for any occasion.

Glitter Bubbly!

Ansari's Mediterranean Grill & Lounge

I work at a bar and the colors we use for almost everything are black and purple. For the 4 year anniversary/NYE celebration we decided to give out purple champagne to celebrate. We purchased purple edible glitter from a local craft store, and sprinkled it on the bottom of the champagne glasses.

Once the bubbly was poured, it appeared to be a shimmering festive drink! Definitely doing it again next year.

Simple & Cute

I bought a bag of the bows/ribbons and just stuck them on the some slippers. They held for about 5 hours, so if you want them to stay on longer use duct tape or a stapler to reinforce.

Supplies Needed:
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour
2 cup hershey chocolate chips
3 bags of Reeses Peanut Butter Bites

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Start off by combining the butter, brown sugar, sugar, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla in a large bowl. Blend on medium for 2 minutes.

Next just add the baking soda, salt and flour. (I add the flour in 1/2 cup portions)

Blend on medium, again for 1-2 minutes.

Fold in the chocolate chips using a large spoon or spatula

Now you are going to ball up the dough into a size just slightly smaller than a golf ball. These cookies are bigger than normal.

(Feel free to make smaller cookies just adjust the cooking time)

Place the balls on an ungreased cookie sheet. On my standard sized cookie sheet I only put 6 on at a time. Continue by using your palm to press down the balls to create a flat top.

Place in oven for 11 minutes.

While waiting, cut up your Reeses Peanut Butter Cups like so...

After the 11 minutes is up, remove the pan from the oven and press the candies in to the top of the hot cookies

Return the pan into the oven for an additional 3 minutes. Let stand for only a minute on the pan and then move to a cooling rack or wax paper!

Makes about 3-4 batches.

They are wonderful with a scoop of vanilla ice cream :)

An Enchilada Dish That Will Blow Your Mind

Cha Cha Enchiladas! Similar to enchilada lasagna
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup canned green chilis (drained)
Sriracha (optional)
Mexican style shredded cheese
Small corn tortillas (white or yellow)
Tortilla chips

FRESH INGREDIENTS
(purchase and dice up the amount you desire)
Jalapenos
Red peppers
Green peppers
Tomatoes
1 can black beans (drained and rinsed)

MEAT OF YOUR CHOICE:
I purchased the Jack Daniel's shredded chicken for this recipe. It is precooked and marinaded so there wasn't much work needed.

Begin by preheating your over to 420 degrees.

some of the dry ingredients

Chop up the ingredients you wish to put into this dish.

grape tomatoes

In a bowl, combine the cream of chicken, cream of celery, sour cream and green chilis. We also mixed a bit of Sriracha in with this to give it a little kick. I would avoid this if you don't like spicy.

This is how I store chopped goods while I prepare the rest

Start by applying a THIN layer of the cream mixture to the bottom of your pan.

*I used a 13 x 9

Now place your first layer of tortillas. I found it easiest to cut the small tortillas in half using a pizza cutter, that way I could line the flat edges with the sides of the pan.

Next layer on some cheese, and start adding ingredients. Apply another layer of tortillas, followed by a layer of the cream mixture. We also added a thin layer of Sriracha in the middle.

I did an entire row/layer of diced up jalapenos. They actually didn't turn out very spicey, so I would suggest trying this as well for a crisp flavor.

In the middle layer I added the entire package of Jack Daniel's shredded chicken. I topped the chicken with a layer of crunched up bits of tortilla chips. This adds great texture to the dish.

Next was cheese, followed by tortillas, cream mixture and then more of the veggies and beans. Continue to create your own style of layers until you reach the top. You do not want a row of tortillas on the top but instead a BUNCH of cheese.

Layering on the cheese!

Ready for the oven

Place it in the oven, middle rack. Depending on the size of your dish and ingredients the time will vary. For this specific dish I left mine in for about 45 minutes and then let it sit for about 10 minutes as well.

All done

*It is okay if you don't use all of the cream mixture. I found that using the entire bowl's worth can create a "goopy" turnout.

Dip-Dyed Purple Tips

purple dip dyed tips

I decided to add some purple to my hair while still staying blonde.

I brought in a box color (deep purple) to my hair dresser and found out it was actually a type of coloring that washes out in a few shampoos. So when I end up getting bored with this it can be easily removed.

Kit Kat & Reeses Pieces Birthday Cake

I tried to get creative for my bf's birthday...and he LOVES cake and candy (easy enough) so I thought I would try this festive colored cake. It was pretty simple.

Supplies Needed:
-Basic cake mix
-Frosting
-Kit Kats
-Smaller candy of your choice
-Ribbons and a bow

Make a standard cake in a circular cake pan.
(I actually made two and layered them on top of one another.)
Once the cake cooled I added my frosting, followed by pressing the kitkat candies around the outside.
They stay pretty well, but the ribbon helped to enforce their spots.
I chose the reeses pieces because the colors go wonderful together and it looks like an autumn cake!

Delicious.

*I found a very basic pattern at a local JoAnn Fabrics

Overall this project took roughly 3 hours to complete.
