Don't be intimidated, these are actually pretty simple to put together !

Buns - Yellow Cake Batter
Meat Patty - Brownie
Condiments - Frosting
French Fries - Sugar Cookies

You are more than welcome to make these from scratch. I decided the night before my boss's birthday that I was going to make them, so it saved a lot of time just grabbing the box mixes

Ingredients:
Brownies
Sugar Cookies
Yellow Cake
Frosting (red, green and orange/yellow)

Bake each product as directed

*Tip*
To get the actual bun looking muffin tops, I used an entire cake mix and poured it into a 12 cup muffin pan. This way, when baking, the dough rises and spreads out to look like an actual hamburger bun. If you don't want this look just make regular cupcakes/muffins and cut them in half

After the muffin/cake cups cooled, i just tore off the bottoms of all of them

For the brownies you just want to cut out circles that are around the same size as the "buns"

For the frosting, just add some color on top of the brownie and smoosh down the top bun

For the cookies, you just want to roll out the dough and cut strips. My strips ended up puffing out still while baking so once I took them out I just cut them again a few times to look like steak cut fries

Quick and Easy lunch prep for the work week

Ingredients:
Spinach
Strawberrys (cut up)
Goat Cheese Crumbles
Raw Almonds
Strawberry Balsamic Dressing

You can prep the salad for up to 4 days ahead, but make sure to store the dressing in a small container to bring along with it. Here I used a 5 hour energy bottle after ripping off the label. That way the spinach doesn't get soggy and the salad tastes fresh!

For this lunch prep, add a hard boiled egg & a peanut butter Clif bar

Pillsbury Croissant Wheels filled with Buffalo Chicken & Bleu Cheese

Great finger food for a casual get together or game day

Ingredients:
1 Cup Chicken (shredded, or diced up)
1/2 Cup Bleu Cheese Crumbles
1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup Buffalo Sauce
1 Pillsbury Croissant Tube
Parchment Paper

*This will make about 12 good-sized "bites"*

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

Dice up your chicken if it has not already been done

Combine chicken, sauce, and cheeses in a mixing bowl

On Parchment paper, lay out the croissant roll, and pinch together the seams
*This is an important step, make sure you flip it and enforce both sides

Spread the mixture over the dough, and spread out in a thin layer

Roll up the tortilla, and try to make it tight

Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes

Cut 1 1/2 inch pieces and place on parchment paper over a baking sheet

Cook for approx. 15 minutes (times will vary) at 400 degrees F

Let cool for 2 minutes, and serve with bleu cheese dressing

Beanies are huge this season, so I'm going to let you all in on my little secret. As we all know, when products are "trending" the price sky rockets. For something as simple as a beanie, it's pretty ridiculous to pay anything over 10 bucks for one. However, to get that slouchy look, you usually are charged more...until now :)

I buy my beanies off of amazon ( like this one HERE for less than 2 bucks )

In the picture they look slouchy....but they aren't. That is why they are so cheap, nobody buys them. HOWEVER, it's super easy to make a beanie loose and slouchy

All you do is::

run it under HOT water
ring it out
STRETCH it out, from the rim to the tip
place over a vase, or upside down lampshade to dry

*I like to try mine on after stretching it even though it's wet so I can decide if I like it or should keep going

I've spent months searching for a deep purple end table for my living room, and couldn't find anything that was reasonably priced.

When I saw this table at Goodwill, I also noticed that all furniture was half off that day. So I figured I would give the whole upcycle thing a try, and worst case scenario I only wasted 3 bucks on this table.

I am so happy with how it turned out I think upcycling may become a new obsession real quick. I originally had planned to leave it matte versus glossy but apparently I purchased the wrong finishing glaze...however, it worked out for the best.

I began by washing it down and super gluing the loose pieces together

The top of this table was cracked and coarse, so I took a sander to it to smooth things out

I didn't have primer at the time, so I just used my Titanium White acrylic paint for a base ( 2 coats )
*I let each coat dry for 24 throughout this process

The purple was also an acrylic color, and I applied it with a cheap little sponge brush tool
*4-5 coats of purple

Finally I finished it off with a clear finishing spray (remember to double check the can, like I said I didn't know this can had a glossy finish until I applied it)

This recipe is nothing short of amazing. When prepared in a slow cooker, the chicken stays tender and moist versus overcooked and dry. This is my favorite chicken recipe yet...and it is SO EASY

Supplies Needed:
Crock Pot/Slow Cooker
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 bottle Catalina dressing
1 can cranberry sauce
1 envelope onion soup mix

(optional side)
Chedder Jalapeno Diced Potatoes
2-4 red potatoes
cheddar cheese
olive oil
diced jalapenos
cayenne pepper

Being by combining all of the ingredients in a bowl

Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot

Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts, and cook on low for 5 hours
(or at least check them at 5 hours, can be left in for up to 6 hours)

When ready to serve, pour an extra spoonful of the sauce over the chicken

For the Potatoes:

Peel and dice up the potatoes
Place in a large zip loc bag
Pour in 1/2 C olive oil
Handful of diced jalapenos
Cayenne pepper

Close the baggy and shake up everything inside
Let the potatoes sit in the fridge for one hour

To prepare,
pour baggy out into a skillet
cook on medium for about 10 minutes flipping occasionally
Cover skillet with tinfoil throughout process

For the last minute, sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top
