As much as I love my two puggles, Maci & Marley, I hate that I can't buy them any toys because they will typically only last about 15 minutes until they go crazy and tear it to pieces. A friend of mine has a pitbull and made these fleece rope toys so I figured I would give it a try...

IT WORKED. It's been about a month now, and they just ripped out the first piece of fleece!! So here is a picture tutorial of how to make your own fleece rope toy

  1. How did you make the loop in the toy?

  2. I love these. I belong to a group called Crafting for Charity and we are about to make some enrichment toys for dogs and cats to donate to Animal Welfare. Could you explain how you make the loop at the end please?

    1. Sorry, I can't figure out how she made the loop at the end either, but I am intrigued by the Crafting for Charity group you mentioned. I would love to find one or start one here. How often do you meet? and How many people are in the group? Thx

    3. I don't know if you can see the link I sent, but what you do is tie a knot in your three strips in the middle, braid on each side the length you want your loop to be, if you hold your material up by the knot you will have 6 strands hanging down that you will now start braiding together. This will give you a loop. OR...if you can find the user: Crayons and Collars on Pinterest then find her board called DIY Pet Stuff, there is a step-by-step picture tutorial there. Hope this helps! :)

    4. Thank you Dragonlilly2572, that explanation sounds pretty straight forward. I will certainly give it a go.
LKJ - my sister-in-law, a friend and I enjoy making crafts, so we decided to get together, fortnightly to make crafts for various charities. It is usually only the 3 of us but on the odd occasion, others join in. We have had a couple of workshops, which have been a lot of fun. We have a Facebook page if you would like to have a look at some of the crafts we have done so far. "Crafting for Charity" look for the profile pic with little coloured symbols of balls of wool, needle & thread and a heart, with a red border. We would love you to 'like & share' our page. We find it very rewarding and we have a great laugh.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Dragonlilly & LKJ

  3. I've heard of phishing Ryan Eagle Scammer using Google Maps to reveal the location of a victim, but I haven't heard of scammers using Google Search to find the e-mail addresses of possible prospects for advance fee fraud.

  6. Hi everybody ,
I wouldn't use fleece for it infests your environment real badly !
And sure you won't feed your pettie no plasticparticles !!!
But , in other material than mineral (oil) origine , this seems to be a great ànd lasting 'tugtoy' !
Best wishes from a doggy-catties-chickies lover
