This is the first of MANY glitter upcycles I am about to create, 

this simple technique with modge podge has opened up an entire new world!

You can transform ANYTHING into fabulous, and by starting AND finishing with a coat of modge podge, the glitter doesn't come off or get onto anything

Supplies Needed:

-Object

-Modge Podge

-Paint Brush

-Glitter

-Masking Tape

-Some type of container to catch the glitter

No matter what you are adding the glitter to, it's important to focus on just one section at a time. It will keep you from filtering through glitter quickly and it will give you the best coverage.

Step One

Paint the modge podge on desired area

Step Two

Holding object over container, sprinkle glitter on the modge podge

Step Three

Continue this until the desired area is fully covered

Step Four

Apply modge podge over all the glitter

*At this time, you may continue to do another coat of modge & glitter*

Once you are finished, do a full coat of modge podge and let object dry (untouched) overnight

Clean Eating Meals

Eating clean is one of the best things you can do for your mind, body and soul. It can be a tough transition at first, but once you make it through those first two weeks it becomes so much easier! One of the hardest parts about eating clean is the fact that it takes longer to prepare. 

However, if you prep your meals ahead of time, it will make it much easier to stick to your plan. Here are a few of my favorite clean meals I have been eating lately:

Eggs

Avocados

Spinach

Veggies

These are power foods that are great sources of protein, energy and leave you feeling full for a longer period of time. Everyone's "staple" foods will vary, these are just some of my favorites lately

*Prep/chop peppers ahead of time so breakfast is quick and easy

Keep Spiders Away

No greater relief than seeing a smooshed spider get flushed down the toilet! However, killing them is one thing. KEEPING THEM OUT in the first place is another.

This natural remedy will keep spiders from entering your home 

Supplies Needed ::

-Empty Spray Bottle

-Essential Oil, Peppermint (3-4 drops)

-Essential Oil, Tea Tree (3-4 drops)

-Dish Soap (3-4 drops)

-White Vinegar (optional) (tablespoon)

You can also add some freshly squeezed lemon juice for some extra kick

Once the ingredients have been added to the spray bottle, fill it up with warm water and shake

Go around your home and spray ANY place you have seen a spider, corners, and any spots that are hard to reach. It's important to go around windows, doors and closets as well. I also like to spray some of my vents (I live in an apartment) to keep them from coming from other units.

This natural remedy works because spiders tastebuds are on the feet (as if they aren't gross enough) therefore, the will stay clear of any area that is sprayed with the remedy. Think about it - you wouldn't dip your hands in this stuff and then go eat your dinner.

For best results, do this 2-4 times per month to your home (depending on severity)
